Demo Virtual Machine Image

This is the virtual machine (vm) image referenced in Appendix B.

You’ll find a complete book excerpt here showing how to use these files.

You can always download the vm image as a single file from the book home page here or here (~ 2 GB).

The SHA256 hash for the file that you can download from here is:

After downloading,  you can use the sha256sum utility on your local system to verify the integrity of the files you downloaded by comparing your SHASUM hash with the official value above.
